DIY | Create your very own Holdie Folk Cavepeople
YABBA DABBA DOO, we teamed up with our clever friend Jenni of @myweebuddy to create a prehistoric Holdie World DIY! Upcycle all those odd socks and fabric scraps into the funkiest stone-age tunics around.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Choose different color socks for two unique ancient looks. -

Cut down the middle, holding onto the toe side end of each sock. -

Cut off the excess fabric, so the front and back are the same lengths. -

Using a pen or pencil and ruler, outline each unique pattern onto the fabric -

Cut out the pattern. -

Gather the recycled fabric, scissors, and twine. -

Cut a handful of small triangles and glue or stitch them ( using the needle and thread ) onto your first look -

Cut enough twine for a belt and two long rectangular fabric strips to wrap around each ankle for the second look. -

Glue around each ankle ( or use a needle and thread! ) so they are secure and cut off any excess fabric. -

Tie the twine around their tummies as a little belt. -

Ensure the garments are dry if you used a glue gun and BAM all done, time to play!
